With the arrival of spring, the staff at the Iowa State University Armstrong Research Farm and Wallace Foundation is busy preparing plantings in the greenhouses as well as looking forward to planting this year's field crop.  Visitors are always welcome and encouraged to browse the grounds to see what research projects are undersay for 2010. 

The Wallace Foundation for Rural Research and Development is housed at The Wallace Foundation Learning and Outreach Center is located at 53020 Hitchcock Avenue, Lewis, IA 51544. The telephone number is 712-769-2650.

Directions to the Center: 12 miles west of Atlantic IA on Highway 6, ½ mile South on 525th street, 3/4 mile east on Hitchcock Avenue or 13 miles east of Oakland IA on Highway 6, ½ mile south on 525th Street, 3/4 mile east on Hitchcock Avenue.
